Chef Donovan has been a culinary expert for over 17 years, beginning his journey in Quebec City, Canada — a region renowned for its rich culinary heritage and fine cuisine. He specialises in reimagining classic dishes with a refined modern twist, combining tradition with creativity in every plate. With a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for perfection, he consistently delivers exceptional dining experiences. As a husband-and-wife team, we share a genuine passion for outstanding service and high-quality food, creating memorable moments through beautifully crafted cuisine and warm hospitality.

    Now back in Australia, Chef Dono and Kiyah have launched their own private chef business on the South Coast, bringing refined flavours, personalised service, and unforgettable dining experiences straight to your home or event.

    Our Love Story
    We were married in Italy, surrounded by incredible food, culture, and unforgettable moments. After beginning our journey together abroad, we relocated to the South Coast of NSW — Kiyah’s hometown, where she was born and raised — to start building our dream both personally and professionally.
  • 2017-2025
    Private Chef – Canada
    With 17 years of culinary experience, Chef Dono’s journey began at the prestigious École Hôtelière de la Capitale in Quebec City, where he refined the foundations of classical French technique and professional kitchen discipline.
    He then completed an inspiring stage at the acclaimed Laurie Raphaël, a celebrated Michelin-recognised restaurant in Quebec City, where creativity, precision, and artistry shaped his early approach to cuisine.
    From there, Chef Dono moved to Whistler and spent three years as a private chef with Harvest Chef Catering, crafting bespoke dining experiences for luxury events, weddings, and intimate in-home dinners. Alongside his private chef work, he also contributed to several high-end Whistler restaurants, expanding his skillset and evolving his style over five years in the region’s vibrant dining scene.
    Passionate about flavour, creativity, and culinary artistry,Chef Dono brings a refined and modern perspective to every dish he creates.
